Since the early 2000s we’ve been flying back and forth to the islands. This is how a few New Yorkers fell for pakalolo, and brought it home.
Six stops, from the first flights out to the club it became.
We started flying back and forth between New York and the islands, and found a culture deeply rooted in cannabis. It changed everything for us.

Smoking da kine strains like Maui Skunk and Big Island Widow, we found out what sun-grown island flower could be. Maui Wowie, Molokai Frost and Maui Skunk Dog came with them.

Breeders on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi opened an underground tunnel into the true culture of each island, and the legends that built it.

Surfers, body boarders, breeders and medical growers came together on one breeding project: organic, sun-grown genetics with Hawaiian, New Zealand and Samoan roots.

We brought it home to New York: exactly what you’d get if you took a flight straight into Hawaiʻi.

Da Best Kine Co. becomes a members’ club: the Island Collection, Surf & Stay trips to the islands and clubhouse evenings in New York.
