Our story · Est. Hawaii

Island life is the opposite of New York.

Since the early 2000s we’ve been flying back and forth to the islands. This is how a few New Yorkers fell for pakalolo, and brought it home.

A history, island to island

From the 808 to the 718.

Six stops, from the first flights out to the club it became.

  1. Early 2000s

Island life, the opposite of New York.

We started flying back and forth between New York and the islands, and found a culture deeply rooted in cannabis. It changed everything for us.

  2. The legends

    Another level of sun-grown pakalolo.

Smoking da kine strains like Maui Skunk and Big Island Widow, we found out what sun-grown island flower could be. Maui Wowie, Molokai Frost and Maui Skunk Dog came with them.

Maui crater with clouds rolling over red earth
  3. Oʻahu & Kauaʻi

    Our first breeder partners.

Breeders on Oʻahu and Kauaʻi opened an underground tunnel into the true culture of each island, and the legends that built it.

  4. The crew

Surfers, breeders & growers behind the wave.

Surfers, body boarders, breeders and medical growers came together on one breeding project: organic, sun-grown genetics with Hawaiian, New Zealand and Samoan roots.

  5. 808 to 718

    The wave hits New York.

We brought it home to New York: exactly what you’d get if you took a flight straight into Hawaiʻi.
